The mixed group of faculty and administrators expressed interest in cross-group communication.

 

CUNY-Wide Assessment Commmittee

Matt Gold and Michael Branson Smith gave a presentation and the group expressed strong interest in expanding their presence on the Commons.

CUNY Academic Commons Presentation at Lehman College

May 6th, 2011 – New Multimedia Center – Carman Hall

The Community Team participated in Lehman College’s first “Faculty Tech Demo Day” and showcased the Commons and demonstrated how it can be used by faculty and graduate students.

 

CUNY Math Matters – March, 2011

Brian Foote, Michael Branson Smith, Matt Gold, and Scott Voth demonstrated how the CUNY Math Matters group might best use the Commons, and got suggestions on plugins that would be useful for mathematics.

 

Yale University – February, 2011

Boone Gorges and Matt Gold were invited to give a presentation to faculty members of Yale University who are currrently considering a project similar to the Commons.
