We are very pleased to announce that the Commons has fully migrated to Reclaim Hosting!
Please note that all content added to the Commons ahead of our migration downtime has been transferred to the new host and should be available just as it was the last time you logged in. You don’t have to change or access anything differently on your end. If you’re reading this now, you’re already enjoying the Commons in its new digs!
Our team would like to thank the CUNY Graduate Center’s IT department for hosting us for many years and for all of their help completing this migration.
As we mentioned in our migration announcement last month, we are so excited about the opportunity (many months in the making now!) to embark on this new era of the Commons with our longtime colleagues at Reclaim Hosting. We have no doubt that their unique expertise and resources in the world of academic technology will serve us well.
We couldn’t have done any of this without the patience of our users, of course. Thank you so much for your understanding throughout this process.
Last but certainly not least, we would like to thank the Commons development team, especially our lead developer Boone Gorges, for spearheading this migration and handling it so well, down to the last painstaking detail. The Commons is no small or simple website, and this was not a task for the faint of heart. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email our support team. Thanks!
All hail Boone! Reclaim us thrilled to be working with the Commons, you all are edtech heroes.
Congrats Commons team, and thanks for all of your hard work! Really thrilled that we’re all working with you and your Reclaim folks too, Jim.
