We are pleased to announce the new release of CUNY Academic Commons featuring our new Help Center and some slick new options for participating in discussions with your Group.
Help Center
The Help Center offers a single, simple-to-navigate page for finding solutions to technical challenges on the Commons. In addition to answers to FAQ’s, you can search for the topic you need or browse a table of contents, which is grouped into four familiar categories.
Group Forum Email Enhancements
One of the most popular features on the Commons are Group Forums. The 1.11 release adds two new pieces of email functionality that makes it easier to participate in forum discussions:
Emails of forums posts on the Commons now more prominently display the group and subject of the post, making it easier for users to prioritize and sort messages in their mail client.

Commons users can also now create a new forum topic simply by sending an email to a custom group email address. Here’s how.
